This section contains event information for those attending the 2012 Global Day of Prayer at Wembley on the 29th September. As the event gets closer, this section will grow as more material is added.
Who is the (National Day of Prayer and Worship? National Day of Prayer and Worship is for ALL Christians, Church, Youth, Prayer Leaders, and Intercessors. We want to bring Christians from across the Isles from many different, Backgrounds, Denominations, Streams and Traditions together to pray and seek God. What is The National Day of Prayer and Worship ? National Day of Prayer and Worship will be an historic opportunity for the church of the British Isles from every denomination, stream, and tradition to unite at Wembley Stadium to pray for our nation. The programme will be full of praise, intercessory prayer for our nation, teaching, and spiritual impartation. The key focus of the day will be to jointly seek God’s Kingdom for our nation and release the church into mission, to share the Gospel with millions of people and pray for the transformation of all sectors of society. Who is are the organisers behind The National Day of Prayer and Worship? National Day of Prayer and Worship is hosted by GDOP London in collaboration with national organisations, key denominations, the local churches and regional networks.
The meeting will be held in Wembley Stadium, Wembley, and London, HA9 0WS. When is the meeting? Saturday 29th September 2012, What time does it start & finish?

London is served by 5 Major Airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton & London City Airport Is there public transport to get to Wembley? TUBE: There are two tube stations within walking distance from Wembley Stadium. Wembley Central station is on the overground and Bakerloo line and Wembley Park station is on the jubilee and metropolitan line. For further information please visit transport for London. Click here TRAIN STATION: The nearest train station is Wembley Park Station. For fares and train times please visit National Rail Enquiries Click Here or call 08712 004950. BUS: Local buses to stadium include 18, 83, 92 and 224. Please visit www.tfl.gov.uk/buses for more information. TAXI: It is better to use public transport but if you do require a taxi then you can text CAB 60835, this will provide you with three telephone numbers of different companies. We recommend that it is only used when the traffic is off peak and if it is totally necessary. Is it possible to drive to Wembley Stadium? Wembley Stadium is a public transport destination, however, there are limited car parking facilities available at the stadium. We recommend that you only use the official stadium parking and that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please e-mail parking@gdoplondon.com to request parking. The SATNAV code is HA9 0WS. Can I bring a coach? If you are Bringing A Coach coach companies and 0perators can pre-book their coach space for events online: www.gotocsp.com . Prices for coach spaces range from £30-£50. Bookings close 72 hrs prior to an event to allow for vehicle accreditation to be sent in the post. Is there hotel accommodation near by?
There are a number of Hotels near Wembley Stadium, GDOP have provided details of a number in the local area Is there child care provision? Children are allowed at this event, are the responsibility of the parent or Gaurdian for the whole duration and must have a ticket to gain entry.
